"This is a good looking hotel, outside the floral decorations were beautiful and the outside seating was great. Inside the bar and restaurant areas were very impressive. Checkin was a bit slow as a few people were waiting,but another member of staff appeared and we were seen to efficiently. Our room, standard double, pet friendly, was fairly standard. "How old and grand the hotel was but the cleanliness wasn't great especially when our room was serviced they would make the bed but didn't clean all the furniture and window seals still quite dusty"

Check in was easy, with info forwarded the morning of, so we could just get in, get the keys, and be on with our day. The proprietor let us check out later for a good price as my partner was unwell and needed extra time to recover. We appreciate the exceptional hospitality."
