"Great service. Beautiful room. I always want to stay in room 368. My husband and I have been staying at Stony Brook over the course of four years probably a dozen times our daughter lives a mile away. We stayed there several times during the year and I lost him this past June. I was there three weeks ago and greatly appreciate the guest services and how wonderful they were to me. Thank you so much."

"This room (King bed in the carriage house) is ideal if you have family or friends staying in the room next door: the noise from other guests comes through the wall so I could hear conversations, coughing and snoring. Theres a white noise machine in the room you can use, though. The Wi-Fi was inconsistent in the room but seemed to be fine in the main house, so remote work could be done there. I still rate this 5 stars because the location and decor are wonderful. I would stay here again. "
