Originally a deer hunting forest in Norman times, Ashdown Forest is now one of the largest free public areas in the South East of England. It is a great place for walking and enjoying amazing views over the Sussex countryside and is known the world over as the 'home' of Winnie-the-Pooh.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton at Gatwick’s South Terminal. We loved the room - the bed was massive and perfectly comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean with good water pressure and temperature in the shower.
