Great location in Hartlepool, which is such a cute town to visit! We stayed here to see a Premier League game up in Sunderland, so the proximity to the train station as well as walkability to local restaurants and marina was great! Room was very spacious, and breakfast the next morning was great, even as someone who is gluten free!

Very noisy room. I couldn't get to sleep. Ask to move at 1230am to quiet room but they couldn't move us. Breakfast poor too. Noise of traffic, police cars and drunken people.

The rooms were fine but there is no air conditioning so in hot weather it may not suit some people. For the price including breakfast and parking it is good value. Our room was modernised but the bathroom had old style taps that were difficult to turn on and off.

Splendid Victorian hotel building right in the centre of the town. Beautifully restored. Clean and comfortable with friendly helpful staff - just needs a few more of them.
