"A comfy well-equipped holiday home. The owners were very helpful. We were treated to a very substantial welcoming pack on arrival. Parking was easy directly outside the house on a quiet road. Easy access to war areas of the Coxwolds. The perfect home from home."

Everything is lovely and clean, staff, for the most part are pleasant and professional - I say for the most part - on our latest visit, we ordered a wine spritzer and specified soda, not lemonade and a half pint of pepsi. We got a spritzer with lemonade and a full pint of pepsi but it was soon sorted. We have had 4 different rooms out of the 5 that there are, and only one of them was what I would class as too small even for a standard...

We were left wondering if all the rooms in the hotel were full and perhaps they could have located us in a room with a window that opened. The venue looks impressive from the outside but is obviously a conference venue so is lacking character inside - not a criticism but an observation. The king-bed room was clean and spacious but the shower was hit-and-miss regarding temperature (my partner ended up having a cold shower and yet my shower was fine).
