"The property itself was lovely. However, during my two day stay, the water temperature in my room's en suite bathroom was cold, and then tepid, both for the basin and shower. The shower water pressure was also very poor. Finally, I had early starts on both mornings, and the fire alarm went off in my bedroom due to "steam" from the bathroom. "A hotel inside the airport building and very convenient walk to Terminal T2.. just a 5 min walk from the hotel entrance to T2. Room was good and a decent size..there are rooms that overlook the runway and give a good view. Overall great location if you want to stay close to the airport and not travel before your flight"

"Staff so friendly and helpful. Found room quite warm in the day but in evening was able to open windows fully to get some air in (stayed in April). I imagine would be very hot in summer even with fan provided in room. Walls are very thin, not a problem for me as thankfully my neighbours were quiet but I know other people were not so lucky. Was able to do me a vegan breakfast in the morning which I was happy with. I would stay again if I was in the area and needed a good value place to stay. "

"Hawkstone is a fabulous place to stay. A truly beautiful building in an off the beaten track location in the Shropshire countryside.
