"No there no shops"

"The breakfast was lack luster, only very few pastries, cereal and bread (but no plain bread, all had seeds and my kids wouldn't eat them). Our room had sooo many tiny ants crawling all over my (empty) coolers. When I asked the front desk for assistance with it they gave me an insect spray to spray around the room which killed some ants, but then I had ant caucuses in the room (that housekeeping did not clean up the next day). The beds were basically fold away beds so were not very comfortable....

"The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the back gardens is a big plus. Margaret is very accessible and helpful. Her garden shop is a lovely place to browse. This is our third stay and we will most likely return if visiting in the area."

"What a cool spot, lots of things to do around the property or just relax by the pool and sauna. This would be a fun spot for couples, great vibe and easy to be romantic, assuming you like to be spoiled and outdoors at the same time."

"We had the entire top floor four our group of 8. It was more than big enough for all of us and very comfortable. Was very convenient to have a restaurant open for dinner on the main level and made delicious food. Gas station with KFC and pizza was within a few minutes walk away also. The sauna in pool area was not working and the pool was very cold. It could use a heater to make the pool swimmable. My son went for a swim and his lips turned blue, was very cold. "

"It’s a basic hotel. We got in town late and left in the morning so it served its purpose. The TV in our room didn’t work and it looked a little run down but it was clean and the bed was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was good. If you just need a place to rest your head this place will do. The staff were great and very friendly."

"Highly recommend! This hotel is a tiny bit dated but otherwise the best hotel I’ve stayed at this year. We stay at hotels at least 6-8 times a year between my kids different competitions and will be recommending this hotel to anyone staying in Peterborough. Staff were great, pool was heated, hot tub was actually hot. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Appreciated the free breakfast that had early hours so I could actually use it. "Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast for two for $30 was not worth the price; was typical sausage and scrambled eggs, usually offered for free at other hotels. Otherwise the hotel was clean."
