"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."

"Off the main road which was good. We thought it was a nice, pleasant place to stay within a short drive of Chester. I would recommend this place to friends visiting the area. We were just a couple that stayed for a week whilst building work was completed on our house and found it competitively priced so if you are a group of 4 then it would represent even better value. "Great stay with Oddfellows, stayed in the apartment which is 5min down the road and turn left pass the Crosskey pub on the corner right to the end where there is a place with ‘Oddfellows’ on it, it came with parking aswell in the courtyard which was great! Very central but quiet enough at night by the apartment which was ideal, would definitely stay again. "
