Really big bathroom Very hot but it was a hot evening outside The check-in was weird because we were asked to pay £5 for parking which wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking process. Considering it’s a motorway services accommodation, there’s really no choice unless we parachuted in. The hotel should have the honesty to include it in the price at booking."

I have stayed at the Strawberry Bank Hotel for 5 nights, and despite the sun being a deadly laser this weekend they were extremely comfortable and one of the most wonderful places I have stayed in awhile. The staff are extremely friendly. Because I was going to an event which had me wearing a lot of costumes, the cleaner saw this and got chatting to me about them. "The staff was excellent. Possibly the kindest and most helpful of any hotel I've visited, and I've been to a lot. My issues were unique to our needs. 1. We needed the laundry facilities, and although they are listed here on Expedia, they do not have any. 2. We needed access to halls 1-4 at the NEC. The "16 minute walk" that is listed is to the other side of the NEC. Unfortunately this meant we actually had a 40 minute walk there and back each day. If those weren't issues, I would happy...

The hotel is still quite nice compared to others in the area but doesn’t seem to have been maintained to the high standards it once was. "Regina was an absolute star wonderfully sunny disposition. Helpful about where to eat. Rooms are spacious and ensuite too. Breakfast is self serve continental with a good choice, however, you can cook your own in the kitchen which has all amenities. Plenty room for parking. Big lounge room. Door leads.from Breakfast.l room out to the garden which is well maintained. Squirrels, ducks,coots and.other garden birds can be seen. A very nice place.to stay, quiet and relaxing."

"Great property, very quiet location, lots of golfers on the coarse so guess its good to (not a golfer). Food was amazing (though a little pricey) and the staff were incredible. With a nice bonus of a live act in the bar on Saturday night. The only let down was the pool etc. Locker rooms in need of some TLC, the pool was absolutely freezing and the steam room didnt seem to be working. All in all though a nice hotel, in a quiet area to get away from it all. "
