"Very spacious room and bathroom, more like a suite. Very comfortable, sophisticated. Big car park. Club house & restaurant some distance to walk in bad weather, but they served some good food both at dinner and breakfast (only one course allowed!)."

The following morning our television didn't work breakfast was £16.95 for full english so we ate elsewhere. "Beautiful place to stay, comfortable, clean quiet and lovely gardens, castle itself is stunning visually, but seemed a little tired in places, corridors and entrances understand lots of footfall but perhaps a fresh scrub and some paint touch up. We had high tea and Prosecco and decided to stay overnight, as it was my birthday.still a very lovely place to stay."

"Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling."

"The Langley Castle hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff could not be more accommodating, friendly and helpful. It's been a long time since we experienced such great service and felt so welcomed! We were offered help with our bags, which given the narrow and winding stairs, would be a good option for anyone with a heavy or large suitcase. I believe there were over 20 winding stairs (and not always a hand rail), so if one has any climbing difficulties, be aware of this. Our suite was...

"We booked this at the last minute as we were travelling up to the Scottish borders and wanted to break the journey due to the extreme heat. We arrived very late (about 11pm) but we had called the hotel in advance and one of the staff agreed to wait for us. When we did arrive we were greeted with a very warm welcome. Our one regret is that we didn't have time to make use of the observatory (yes you read that right!) All staff very friendly and helpful and loved the breakfast"

"Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these. Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter. Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel."

"As many have said, this is a dated hotel with a very 1970s feel. We stayed on a Friday night as we had an early flight the next day, and the car park was very busy (as was the bar, so we ended up eating in a side room). The food was actually pretty good. The rooms were fairly basic but comfortable, and we felt safe the whole time. It was a very short walk to the airport the next morning (I asked if they did wake-up phone calls and got a firm 'no'). "It's a fantastic place to stay, but the wallpaper which is fab could do with glueing down in the room we stayed in 132. Also herb sausage is not breakfast sausage, maybe do just pork or beef sausage. Everything else was fantastic lovely stay."
