"The check-in process was a little stressful. We arrived a few minutes before the 5 PM check-in time and the owner was nowhere to be found. I called a couple of times with no response before we finally found her out and about doing chores. We were able to get her attention to be let into the property. The main living area is available for guest use but has a heavy odor of cats. The rented room and bathroom are clean and the odor is much more tolerable. "I would have loved to give 5 stars but due to the fact at about 8:45 PM we heard a terrible, loud noise. As I was going down the hall to go to the front desk, I noticed a door opened in the room where the ice machine was. I said “excuse me” and was greeted by a maintenance worker. I asked him if he was drilling as I heard the sound. We were about 4 doors down and the sound was very loud. He said he had about 10-15 minutes and he would be done. He then continued. "The property seemed relatively new so take that into account. It was very well maintained and clean, which I really appreciated. The newer model tv with streaming options was a bonus. Room had a very fresh and clean odor. Water was very hot in the shower which is my preference. Overall I had a pleasant stay "

"Room was clean. We ran out of toilet paper after 12 hours, and no one was available to bring any to the room unfortunately. There was also only one bath towel for showering. Kitchen and fridge were fantastic, and would be so nice for a family staying more than one night. The pool was well kept but the water was cold. We didn’t get back in after one swim because of this. "This evening stay was picked because of the indoor pool, which turned out to be a lovely place. You could tell it had been updated. A bit chilly at 75 degrees for this old gal, but, I toughed it out. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfy, pillows plentiful with softness options. Breakfast in AM was satisfactory. Overall, our stay hit all the buttons we needed for a comfortable stay. Job well done!"
