"Loved it! The hotel very kindly accommodated our request for a room with a shower instead of a bath. Lovely courtyard room, which was very quiet despite the outdoor seating area for the bistro being very close. Good bar with very friendly staff. The area was ideal for exploring Henley. Just around the corner from the river and the rowing course, and around another corner to the main shopping/eating/drinking areas. Would definitely stay again. Be aware though that the parking is underneath...

"Good location, not too far from the railway station. The late check-out on a Sunday (1pm) was great for having a shower and changing after the Reading Half Marathon. Lots of places to eat nearby, if you don't fancy eating in the hotel. Room and bathroom were clean and functional. Tea and coffee-making facilities available."

Room was extremely quiet and we didn’t hear a thing, until in the early hours of the morning other guests decided to bang hard on our door on the way to their room, which is obviously not great behaviour. Unsure why we were asked to pre-check in to then have to give the name of the second guest on arrival, which should have been covered by the pre-check in process. "For a solo traveller, if you need a clean and safe place to stay overnight, this place is sufficient. Room is tiny and one person could barely turn around. Bathroom and ac will be the amenities provided. Checkout was 10am so I barely could sleep in, also I heard clearly and constantly that neighbours’ doors were closed. Parking is at the back and a short walk to Thames river and train station. Staffs were friendly. Anyway you paid for what you got."
