"very nice room, recently rtenovated and you could tell. restaurant had a good mix of food on and bar staff very welcoming. had a dog with us and no issues. he was well looked after. its on a tourist route but actually the staff looked like they really enjoyed their jobs. warm fire in the evenning and the brewery was nice too. Definitely recommend if you're visiting this stunning part of England – they will help with guidance for walks and dark skies star spotting etc. "
