Decoy Fleet The body of water in the background is the Decoy Fleet on the Hoo Peninsula. In the past dogs would have been used to drive wildfowl into nets strategically positioned along the waterway. The birds would have been attracted by decoy dummy ducks or pinioned birds kept as lures.
