"This hotel gets a lot of bad reviews but for a budget hotel it was great for a 2 night stay with my daughter for a cheerleading competition. The room and hotel decor is dated but this did not affect our stay. The beds were comfortable and clean, towels were provided and tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room. "Room was ok. No air conditioning terribly hot. Utensils at breakfast were not very clean. Breakfast was very skimpy not what I am use to at other holiday inns."

"Hotel OK overall… you get what you get for the price.. I stayed there many times. They have some rooms on the ground floor that haven’t got windows nor a fan in the bathroom. There is a ventilation system which hasn’t been cleaned for ages… it’s safe to say I didn’t lose breath but it was extremely uncomfortable."

"Good breakfast. I did speak with property about solo travellers being stuck at the back of the dining room. Why cant we have as good a table as anyone else? I am an experienced traveller and dont like being treated any differently to anyone else! Whole hotel and the grounds are georgeous though and I enjoyed my time there. My single room was nicely spacious."

"Food poisoning the first night, rooms hotter than the sun, zero water pressure in the bathrooms. Constantly chasing staff for the most simple things. They ran out of ice. No fans for the rooms. No one collecting glasses or emptying an ash tray. Asked for a coffee in the morning and waited 15 minutes.. got up to ask where it was "oh i couldn't find you" yeah because you were in the kitchen flirting with the chef.. Could be such a wonderful place, if the staff weren't recreating Fawlty Towers"

"It was a small room and no air conditioner, but unfortunately the breakfast wasn’t very good! Very few things, The croissants were born, not to many varieties!"

"5* Luxury from the moment you walk in. Great selection of restaurants and the pub next door is fantastic. The leisure suite is the best I’ve visited with a poor, sauna and steam. The gym is state of art. Surrounding area offers great walks and wildlife. Reception first class and the massage was amazing. Bargain find."
