"A great little find in Brixham, I contacted Pip before my arrival asking for a early check in and he was very obliging and when I did arrive early I was treated to an upgrade. A great location only 10 mins walk from the town centre. Fantastic breakfast and a great host. I will be sure to come here again if i am ever in Brixham or near by. "Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x"

Left of centre is a mound of clay waste being formed on the east side of Denistone Quarry SX8574, with a wooded mound of old waste appearing to its left SX8573. Clay waste stretches away to the north. Right of centre the Broadway clay pit is being filled, with a big shaped mound to its right. Beyond it at some distance is Higher Sandygate SX8674, mostly. Between the mounds in the centre of the photo is the narrow wooded cleft which marks the course of the Abb Brook or Abbrook which, in its upper reaches, is the Ugbrooke Stream SX8676.
