"Clean room and very quiet beautiful location. However, location is 30-45 minutes outside of Lucerne and transportation is very limited and expensive. Ubers are not frequent in that location so need to reserve ahead of time and only some Ubers will come out that far. Would recommend paying more to stay in town to be accessible to shopping and restaurants. If looking for relaxing location, it is a good choice."

"Fabulous position right on the lake and beside the mountain train. Breakfast was a simple continental but quite sufficient. Toiletries were classy and plentiful. The Hotels past was likely quite fancy and a little bit of a spruce up would make her fabulous again."

"We stayed at the chalet across the street from the reception for 2 nights. Worst experience ever. Room is very hot, dark (incandescent bulb lighting which adds to the heat), bathroom smells like cigarettes, floors creak, and you can hear everyone who comes in and out of the place. Pictures of the lodge are very deceiving and combined with the newer, more expensive hotel where the reception is. "Great position on the Lake with easy access into Luzern, CHF4 each way. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with standalone Aircon which proved useful during our visit. Be aware most room do not have an unrestricted view of the lake due to a property in front of the hotel. Breakfast is taken across the road at the old hotel, but is good.
