"Not fancy, but all good and excellent location within walking distance of MOMA, Central Park, subway, and Broadway plays. Nice sitting room on 2nd floor where our group of 6 ate pizza and played games one night. Empty water bottles available in some halls to fill with filtered water. Would definitely stay here on a future visit."

"The front desk staff is not friendly. The market store in the hotel has double/ triple of the price of stores outside the hotel. While room service staff is very helpful and friendly. Room does not have coffee/tea set, basic hotel amenities such as complimentary toiletries. "

"The room was large by New York City standards. Was across the street from Eugene O’Neil theater. The staff were helpful, always available, friendly. There was free continental breakfast but we didn’t try it, we were out in the city early and stayed late. Air conditioning was comfortable. The bathroom was so large and clean."

"Great walking location for MSG and Penn Station. Very comfortable quiet clean rooms. Rooftop bar is a nice place to grab a cocktail and bite to eat. Staff very friendly. "

"This was the best hotel in Manhattan! The Hampton inn staff made me feel at home! I was traveling solo and it was an amazing experience and I felt very safe!"

"Excellent location and extremely helpful staff. Cleaning crew is also really attentive and serving your room everyday is a default, which really stands out as some hotels have stopped doing that after COVID. The rooftop bar is amazing with exposed bricks and really nice view. The only complaint I had was that the air conditioner can get rather loud, but only when it’s really working to drop the temp initially. "
