We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's located a couple of blocks away from the Hiroshima station and it's near a tram station, so it's well connected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you arrive earlier for the check in, they can store your luggage. At 1F there was a food store (I think it was a Sukiya or another similar store), so in case you are in a hurry, it was pretty convenient to have a meal there. The room size was an intermediate one, a bit bigger than the APA standard. As a summary, we recommend this hotel!

Excellent hotel that’s only a 10 minute walk away from Hiroshima station. There is a Matsuya next door which is convenient for breakfast and dinner. Rooms are good and reasonable size for Japan. Staff are friendly and can look after luggage after checking out.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan. The room was comfortable with the right amount of space, bathroom was really nice, great amenities. Although there is no on site parking there is a cheap pay lot just behind the building making it convenient and it is also near the station! Looking forward to visiting again!

I enjoyed staying at Koko hotel Hiroshima. It was in a super convenient spot, close to the station and walking distance from historical sites, parks and restaurants. Staff were polite, friendly and were able to speak some English when my Japanese wasn’t good enough. The only thing I would suggest would be a bigger pillow. And maybe an extra one too. It’s possible that one was available but I didn’t ask. I would definitely stay here again.

Koko Hotel in Hiroshima is very convenient. It is just over the river from the South Entrance of the Station with easy access to Buses, Trams, Trains and Shinkansen. The desk staff were very helpful this year as well as last year when I stayed there helping me fill out forms for luggage forwarding. In the attached Café there is a good selection of Breakfast options. Rooms are clean and all the usual things you need are provided. The only thing to be aware of is that the en-suite bathroom has quite a high step up into the room.

Great Stay

Stayed for 2 nights to be able to visit the Peace Memorial and Okunoshima island. The room was very clean and comfortable for the duration. The city itself was beautiful and the people I spoke to were very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to go to Hiroshima, it's location is extremely convenient as it is just a 3-5 minute walk to Hiroshima Station. So you can get anywhere in the city extremely easy.

Good location but important issue with the room

The hotel location was great, close to Hiroshima Station and fairly close to major sites. The price was also fair. Although the room was clean, there was an horrible smell of mold in the room, likely coming from the bathroom. It was impossible to get rid of it. It smelled so strong it caught in your throat. Unless this is adressed, we could not recommand a stay in this hotel.
