"The entrance to check in was not obvious from the outside when we arrived and the hotel is isolated in its location. However, staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good."

The first time we had 4 suitcases to take to our room and outside the hotel there was an airport trolley. My husband loaded it and as we passed the desk were told we couldn’t take it to the room. "I was in The Tack Room, which seems to be fitted out for disabled visitors. 2 single bed, but both too firm to be comfortable for me. Quirky mixture of old and a bit newer, but had charm and character. Very quiet location. Nice breakfast, though sausages were a bit peppery."

"I stayed for two nights with my wife, bed and breakfast. We had one of the chalets out the back which was very clean and cosy. The facilities are first class and the staff were great. The food was superb, reasonably priced and large portions. The breakfast was very good with a ample choice."

"Room ( i was in No 2 ) was in good decorative order . However there was a Green light permanently on all night by the door that could not be covered / turned off . Additionally when the Water Tank in the bathroom decided to replenish ( quite randomly - not after use ) it sounded like a Helicopter taking off . Very loud , and not conducive to a good nights sleep . "

"We always stay here when visiting family in the area. The hotel is well maintained and the staff are lovely. Plenty of parking. Three Mile bar next door for drinks. Bus stop outside taking you up to the High Street or into Town. Nothing negative to say."
