"The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was huge and tasty. It’s centrally located for walking the city & near restaurants. The only thing to fix is the street which is blocked for construction, so you can only use one end of the street to get there."

Room was good and comfortable. The shower and washing dispensers seemed to be "muddled up".

"Hotel was ok and breakfast basic. Beds comfy but soundproofing between rooms very poor. Speaking to another guest who had very noisy Air con in their room. Front of house staff terrible about sorting his issues due to no continuity of staff doing shifts. All in all my stay was ok but staff very poorly trained, but that's what you tend to see in the low paid service sector in some hotels (not all). Coming back to York in a month and won't be using this hotel again."

"Had a lovely stay here. Didn’t interact too much with the hotel as we had other plans but where we did staff were very polite and keen to help. We had a lovely, clean room, where it was nice and quiet and we enjoyed a very pleasant stay. Air con was amazing here over the hot weather too. The hotel is also very reasonable for the price and very walkable into the heart of the city too. Would highly recommend. Thank you."
