"Lovely pub but incredibly busy so there were long waits for drinks and food Stay slightly marred by very noisy drinkers right outside our room until 00.50hrs Great area to stay for Bath Racecourse and visiting the white horse"

"Liked friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds and pillows. Not happy with bathroom bin had not been emptied and floor was dirty. Food was quite pricey. Swimming lessons were happening in the pool - more a gym than spa experience."

"This property was very well facilitated in the middle of bath and had a range of lovely staff members always willing to help. We were close to everything in the centre of town but only minutes away from the train station. The room was always clean. They did take some time to replace some towels, however after asking politely everything was changed within a reasonable time frame also the room was medium size with a good facilities, our room had sky and also a really nice shower."

"Clean rooms in an updated older hotel. My only complaint was the lack of air conditioning, as it was unusually hot when we visited. There was a small fan provided, but it did little to cool the room. We felt unsafe leaving the window open because we were on the ground level and it would have been easy for anyone to climb right into our room. The water pressure in the shower was fabulous. Staff was very friendly."

"Great location for park and ride into Bath. We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better. Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen. "This hotel claims to be 4 star. At best it is 2 star. Old rooms with poor facilities. Dreadfully slow service and poor food. And on this occasion, air conditioning that did not work - a minor detail that they did not tell me about when checking in. I am not sure you star ranks these hotels, but they need to have some training. Shocking."
