"Overall a very good value place to stay, and as long as you know the place’s limits in advance you can plan round them. A bit on the basic side (no desk in the room, no towels, no dedicated wifi (something cloudy that didn’t work on 4th floor, so I tethered iPad to phone). toilet and shower a bit “military grade” but the price point was exceptional. Most of the staff were really friendly. Oh yeah there was a bit of a smell in the 4th floor corridor, but this was only in the corridor not in...

"Lovely staff, a radiator sprung a leak in the bathroom which was temporarily sorted, and imediately repaired the following day. Quality full English breakfasts and exceptional evening meals. I highly recommend The White Swan in Lowick."

"Great location just yards from the beach, as base for visiting nearby attractions such as bamburgh castle and Cragside. Rocky in parts but otherwise golden sand beach and again short walk to Seahouses. Just lovely seaside resort. Hotel staff friendly and food excellent with choice of dining room or lounge to relax. "Perfect 2 night stay for Northumberland coast trip - Seahouses, Farne Islands, Bamburgh Casle all within easy reach. The hotel and restaurant were very good. "

"Excellent food, attended a wedding function and tbh the staff looked overrun. Although the day was in general was excellent. Rooms not available for all guests until 15.00. This meant if travelling to a function from distance, there was very limited changing facilities. Think it could be better if there was an area that people could get changed in. That apart would recommend the hotel, as found the bedroom and facilities excellent."
