When I was checking out, the man at reception offered for me to stay and leave my bags in the room and was happy for me to relax in the room well after checkout and when I was ready to leave for the airport. I’m incredible grateful for the kindness and generosity. Also a great area to visit with lots to do and not far from other destinations "

"Staff was wonderful. Check in and check out was easy. I could rent a motorbike from them for 250 baht per 24 hrs. Pool was great to have. Once the road at that main intersection is fixed, I'm sure the stay would be easier. I used it as a point to go to different parts of island. Kata beach was nice. Patong was crazy..oversaturated with stores and tourists. The roads along beach and to Big buddha were winding and with uphills and downhills. Be safe. Oh...and right down the street...

"The Palm Garden was a wonderful experience in a secluded enclave off the main highway about a 10-15 minute walk from the pier and a row of restaurants and shops. The food at the resort was excellent and the service was top-notch. There is nice roomy swimming pool with a deep hole at the deep end for resort dive training. The area as a whole is not especially interesting unless you have a car but it's an excellent retreat location for R&R."

"Very comfortable rooms albeit a little small given that the terrace is the same size. Due to the abundance of mosquitoes because of the season, unfortunately, we were unable to make any use of the terrace. There is a small fridge in the room as this wasn't mentioned in the room description. One small criticism is that we needed to ask for our towels to be changed but once we did so they were changed frequently.
