The hotel itself was a lovely place to stay with great facilities, including a Starbucks café and restaurant on site. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. "Hollins Hall has been a great and grand hotel in the past I think. Does it need a revamp? Absolutely! That said, the bed was comfy. It caters for the golfing fraternity mostly it seems. Where Hollins Hall isn't as grand as the name might imply, we do stay there often as it's close to family we visit. In the broad scheme of things it's fine if you need a comfy bed for the night and it's very good value for money. "This is a beautiful boutique hotel conveniently located in the city centre, just steps from the railway station. Our room was large, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The only suggestion we have is to install more USB ports. If you're staying here, make sure you have enough adapters for all of your chargers, etc. We'd highly recommend this hotel!"
