The room was very clean and quiet and the beds were comfy! I checked in over the phone and the person I spoke with was very nice and helpful! It was the first time I’ve ever done that and it was very easy. I liked the coziness of the place and would stay there again.

The jacuzzi tub was great to relax the muscles after a day of adventure and exploration although we unfortunately had to clean it ourselves before use as there were footprints with sand and dirt within it. The remainder of the room was clean other than the solid thick layer of dust upon the top of the head board. We didn't sleep well as the bed was too firm, it is what it is. The outside curb appeal around the building itself is full of weeds and the bushes need some attention.

The check in was via the phone. A pass code was given out to enter my room. Apparently the ownership has changed. No banana bread. Outside of building was not maintained. Weeds popping up everywhere. The rooms were clean. Don’t know if I will stay there again.

The property was very clean, rooms clean and appeared nice. Bed frames are very squeaky though so could only sleep on one side of my bed. My main issue was there seems to be no soundproofing in the walls and the building is unstaffed. At 12:30 in the morning a group of loud teenagers came in and were screaming in the lobby. Because this is not a staffed hotel, there was no one there to tell them to be quiet. I had to crack open my door and ask them to be quiet, which was received with laughter and no change :/. It woke my entire family up in my room and another room. Without soundproofed walls we could hear everything. That was quite annoying.

Room for fine for the price we paid for as amenities go. However the room stunk like rotten milk bad. We opened the bedroom screen door as well as the windows but couldn’t get it out.

I was the only person there for most of my stay - which I like. When I had a problem, the staff was only a phone call away. There were some loud sounds - maybe the ice machine- that concerned me one night. It was very clean without that strong potpourri smell. Some outdoor furniture would have been nice. I would stay there again.

Pleasantly surprised.

I was not sure what to expect in hotel room in a small town like Houston, but was very pleasantly surprised. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Check in/out was very easy. I would recommend.
