"Personal choice but didn't like the evening menu choices and breakfast was good if poached eggs were cooked better. Mine still had the clear egg slime on them. Staff were brilliant even down to the housekeeping. Room we had was really lovely, modern and a good size. Lots of space in bathroom and a great shower. Free parking was a real bonus. Really enjoyed our weeks stay at golden fleece hotel"

"The reception area was as nice as always and very welcoming and well maintained. The room was quite small and wasn’t as clean as could be the table was sticky and we found items under the bed. The pool area and changing rooms needs some money spending on it as the showers were not working or kit, the lockers were not working, the swimsuit machine was not working. Phones in room were not working. There are just a number of areas to address and for the charge of the stay it should be better...
