"Such a lovely traditional pub with good accommodation, situated in a pretty rural setting, a short drive away from Pickering. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband and I had an evening meal in the pub which was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. Pet friendly. Would definitely recommend the Horseshoe Inn."

"A lovely friendly welcome from Michael at reception. All the staff were great. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The fan was a definite bonus in the hot weather although the room stayed fairly shaded too. There was some traffic noise but it didn't disrupt my sleep at all (room 16). "Beautiful lodge. We stayed in the annex a short walk from the lodge. Staff were lovely and friendly. The grounds were a nice place to relax with a drink. Breakfast was really good ( full English breakfast). Proprietary said they like to employ young students to work weekends which we noticed. Nice to see the young crowd."

We inadvertently booked a superior double room for one person including breakfast, as a result there was only one towel in the room, when we asked for another towel they could have let us know the error, we did pay for the additional breakfasts.
