"The room, separate to and, around the back of the pub was stunning. It was warm and cosy with a controllable radiator for heat. Bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. No shower, but a lovely bath with a handheld shower head. Perfect place to stay before starting the Thames Path. Food was elevated pub fare, and brekkie was the standard full English."

Rooms are dark, low ceilings, out-updated furniture, etc. All in all, the hotel is good enough, though one may not think of it as a spa like experience, especially when considering that this is one of the attractions/ amenities that they are offering & advertising."

"The castle was a true castle and maintained well. The staff is every area we’re kind and friendly. This is a very nice place to enjoy adult only accommodations and my wife and I would stay here again if ever in the area. Food was also top quality and served as if you were at a 5 star restaurant. "De Vere Tortworth Court is a beautiful and unique mansion, completely surrounded by nature, built over 170 years ago. We came to visit the Cotswolds, and this accommodation worked out quite well (it is a 40 mins-1h drive from the main villages). Things I loved: All the shared areas are well kept and organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as well as the bistro and the cocktail bar in the library room. Penhalingon's products in the bathrooms Plenty of free parking...

"In a lovely historic building set within pleasant grounds, especially as the wisteria was in flower. Very helpful staff, lovely room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was perhaps a little disappointing- dry basic with little choice of healthy cereal or cooked food if you are vegetarian. Overall very good though."

"Enjoyed staying here lovely old Cotswold stone style Manor House room was fine looked over garden so was quiet I liked having a room that allowed you to open windows ! Highlight for me was the breakfast everything to my liking and staff all very pleasant."

"Note that this is on the north side of the motorway so when heading south we had to do a detour. And when we got to the place we were told that breakfast was back on the north side. And when we left in the morning there was no one around to ask how to get there if we drove as we didn't have much time. We had booked for two nights but only stayed for one."
