"I always wanted to stay at Humphreys Half Moon Inn and it was everythingI hoped it would be. I love their tropical gardens, it has a beautiful pool open til 11, the tropical/garden room on the 1st floor was lovely, the staff is great, and the location is fantastic. It is both walkable and close to San Diego and all that the city has to offer. Thank you for a great stay!"

"Our suite overlooking the marina was wonderful. Large with a sofa, table and two balconies. Thought it was ridiculous to have two balconies but it came in handy when the neighbor sitting on his baloney was way too noisy. Perfect for a relaxing stay."

"My two daughter's and I had a really great stay. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was good and the view was wonderful. Mahogany at the front desk was a joy to interact with! She had many good recommendations of where to visit and was so kind. She greeted us every time we walked past as well."

"The breakfast buffet was excellent. They have shrimp cocktail and omelette station for morning breakfast buffet. The ocean view was phenomenal. Best thing about it is the hour from 9am-12pm for the buffet."

"Parking sucks, some of my towels were stained and/or still dirty, the beds were hard, but the pillows and bed covers were comfortable. I checked in late at night and the lady at the counter super nice and helpful."

"This property reminded me of an aging debutante who owns the family castle and reputation but cannot keep up with modern times…think Downton Abbey on a marina. From the reading room loft that you see when you walk into reception but the walls aren’t lined with old tomes; instead it’s just wall paper. The spa has limited, overpriced services- all co-ed. I heard someone say the bicycles you can rent aren’t well maintained and the restaurant, while it had good food, isn’t open on Sunday or Monday...

"The property is a little dated, but overall clean and comfortable. It’s directly across the street from San Diego‘s most prolific sport Fishing fleets, which makes it an excellent choice for out of town anglers! Additionally, they do offer paid parking so you can leave your vehicle there instead of the paid parking at Fishermans Landing for guests."

"Simple clean room, we had trouble with the shower but the staff helped us figure it out. it was just old and we were scared it would break. It was a nice stay, very close to a lot of different restaurants we could walk or drive to different places. On our check out day we saw a roach on the floor, unfortunately. but thank god we were heading out of the room."
