"The hotel was wonderful, the staff were very kind and professional and always happy to assist.
My room was overlooking the sea, stunning view and the dinning area was lovely with a stunning view of the sea also.

"Not a luxury hotel but for the price its pretty good.
The room layout is similar to a chain hotel room and it was clean and tidy.
The staff were great and always friendly.
I never ate here so cant comment on the food.
They have entertainment on at the weekends which you can hear in your rooms but its not excessive and finished at 10 pm each night.
I would happily stay here again if i found myself in the area. "

"Lovely hotel , restaurant service was very slow , we waited nearly 30 minutes for our drinks .
It also annoys me how they now try and automatically add service charge to the room charge , I politely challenged this and was told that this has been introduced as the staff all earn a minimum wage .Note to hotel owners, pay your staff a decent wage !"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. Good location as we were planning to catch the ferry from Lymington. Nice gardens. Very helpful staff especially Yan who was knowledgeable about the wines. Very comfortable bed and evening meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay"

"Currently the hotel is under refurbishment. A lot of amenities wasnt available. Including a hot breakfast on Sunday morning, which was on Saturday. Not a lot of food available on either days.
Didn't have the same feel as other macdonald hotels. Rooms were far from reception, which was tricky when it was raining. Rooms were OK. "

"Stains on bed sheets, settee really uncomfortable. Really open and exposed, no privacy, woke up to a stranger walking back of cottage. Cleaning not the best. Only a few plates. Nice location shame property let it down. "
