"The main issue was that the pool and hot tub were closed for renovation. I specifically reserved this hotel because of these amenities and to show up and find out that we could not use them was very disappointing. Even when I called ahead to confirm the reservation, there was no mention of these amenities not being available. It could have easily been mentioned by the person on the phone. After the fact, there should have at least been a discount applied for such an inconvenience. The room...

"The room was clean and comfortable. Loved being able to have fresh air in the room. Location of the motel was rather secluded and quiet. Great sleeping. Breakfast selections were numerous. Hot potato crowns and French toast were delicious. Even soy milk. Staff worked hard to accommodate a rush of families eating breakfast. Conference building needs some maintenance."

"We stayed here for one night on a trip. The room was clean-ish, but it was recently poorly renovated and there was a lot of construction debris, the bathroom door was hung wrong and didn't shut, and the sofa bed was like sleeping on bare springs. The breakfast was good and well stocked. If you need a spot to sleep, the Hilton beds are always comfortable. But the overall feel was a bit neglected and poorly redone."

"We stayed here on our travels and the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The king sized bed was nice. But, for a Hampton Inn, this one needs to be updated with some TLC. Everything was run down from the elevator to the windows and banged up doors and furniture in the room. It was close to a few restaurants and that was convenient. "Great little motel close to Black Moshannon State park & a few minutes from State college. The rooms were clean, comfy & well maintained. The shower was large, with plenty of hot water. The restaurant at the property was a pleasant surprise, thought it would just be sandwiches & pub food but full menu with many options. Every dish we had was excellent!"
