"Great hotel opposite Kyoto Station so very handy. Room was spacious which is unusual in Japan. Had a laundry room which was only ¥600 to use although we had to hang up clothes in room as it didn't dry them completely. Loads of good restaurants nearby in station (who would have thought) as well as combinis. Several shopping malls close by as well. Overall a good hotel and one I'd stay at again."

"The hotel is located near a Starbucks, a small mall, a Starbucks and a train station. It might not be the station you need, so look into where you are likely to visit to make sure this location is right for you. The rooms were a nice size. The shower was amazing. I don't know that I've ever written a positive review about a shower before, but this one deserves a 5star shower review. If the location works for your plans, I highly recommend this hotel. "This hotel is in a very good location, just across from Kyoto Station, which has many restaurants and shops. It's also next to a shopping mall and only about a 5-minute walk to Aeon Mall. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby and reception area looked fancy and even had a tea room.
