"The hotel is within walking distance from the Kyoto train station and very well connected with the rest of the city by bus and subway. Breakfast had a great variety of options of both Japanese and Western dishes, but breakfast area can get really crowded because people tend to linger longer. There were also afternoon coffee, tea, and snacks, and happy hours with free drinks at night. Our room was spotless and very modern. The staff was very attentive and polite. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Express check in and out. Conveniently located with a train entrance right next door. Room was spacious and clean. No iron in the room but available to use on the same floor. Western breakfast. Room and floors are nice and quiet, however, the common area on the 2nd floor can get very lively with DJs playing loud music on certain days."

"Simply an amazing stay at this hotel! Beautiful and definitely an upper class experience. Not sure why only 3 stars, I would rate this as 5. Clean, conveniently located next to a train station and other restaurants and shops. The shower was amazing! The shower pressure was perfect after a full day of walking. They could use a few more hanging options for towels to dry, but otherwise was a perfect stay. We had two rooms, one for us parents and one for our teenagers, 15 and 16. This provided...
