"This hotel was great. The location was perfect and the breakfast was amazing. The staff and communication was also very good. Only two draw backs were the beds were a little hard and if you are downstairs, people in the upstairs rooms make noise that transfer downstairs and is very loud. We had two rooms and in both rooms, the noise from upstairs was bad while we were trying to sleep. "Lovely quiet hotel in the centre of town. A buffet breakfast had all the requirements - coffee, juice, cereal, yogurt, pancakes, eggs and toast. The room was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant was exceptional and there was a bar area for a quick drink and lunch. Local restaurants were a short walk away and tours of the area picked us up around the corner. Small markets were close by to pick up a snack or drinks. Would highly recommend."

It's ideal for getting to a lot of places on the island but staying very convenient to Ponta Delgada and the many restaurants there in the evening.
