"Very likely upscale and nice 10+years ago. Many places are in need up an overhaul it upgrade. Especially the guest rooms. The pool area isn’t functional at all for children and that was disappointing. We ate at Fletchers twice and it was great, and the service was even better. The art galleries were amazing! Service was great. Definitively needs some updating though."

"The man at the front desk when we checked in may 21, 2026 around 4:30ish pm was the best. He went out of his way to explain parking to me. His explanation should be included in the voyager inn website because it is a complete picture of your options. The website just says public parking - let me tell you the parking availability is dicey. You must pay the meter when you street park. Check the rules or u will be ticketed. The lot across the street that is for parking services has time limits...

"Large clean room. Comfortable bed. Normal hotel breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Only negative…no AC. Fans are provided and windows open to let the breeze thru. Would stay here again. 2 blocks from convention center where Princess cruise buses from. Train station walking distance as well."

"The room was spacious, clean and quiet. I did hear the plumbing from upstairs but got used to it. Super convenient location downtown. Only a few minutes ride to the railroad depot. I would stay here again."

"A decent place to sleep when visiting the greater Anchorage area. The hotel seemed relatively clean. Included parking. Coffee and a quick breakfast provided each day. Early check-in an hour before assigned time was an absolute no. Our stay was very basic with no frills (including a bottle of water). Had to ask for fresh towels for day 2. No daily cleaning automatically provided. Priced well above other Marriott SHS properties, but was commensurate with competitor Anchorage choices during...

I called the front desk after making a reservation online to inquire about transportation options. The person I spoke to was not at all helpful. I ended up fending for myself.
