"There is no parking for this place. The parking that they list on their email is only for permit holders. This greatly reduced my rating. The apartment itself could use a good deep clean. Tons of dust, the couch was covered in stains, the blanket on the couch was very smelly and dirty. The location is okay, far walks and bus rides to everything. "

"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"Fabulous place in a great location, very quiet and safe area and plenty of car parking available overnight with restricted parking during the day. Accommodation was excellent and I will definitely use it again, kitchen was well stocked and the bed very comfy and overall the place was very well done out and clean. "Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...

"A unique space as it is historic but with updated amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. Because it is an old building, there were some interesting surprises but nothing that impacted the quality of our stay. It is right smack dab in the middle of the royal mile"
