"We really enjoyed our stay! It was clean and the staff was very friendly. We traveled with our 2 dogs and there is a large lawn for them to stretch their legs. My only very minor complaints: the ice maker on our floor wasn’t working properly, and our bathroom sink drain was clogged and drained very slowly. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers."

"Good waterfront rental. I mistakenly thought it was located on Lake Michigan. It is NOT located on Lake Michigan. It’s located next to a strip mall which is convenient with a Walgreens, Aldi’s and Jewel grocery store within a few blocks of the motel. Lake Chesterton is located behind the motel with a nice view. You can feed geese and turtles from your patio that’s suspended over the water. Our room had a hot tub, which was a nice perk. Friendly staff. Lake Michigan rentals are difficult to find,...

"We stayed in place on 7/11/26 till 7/12/26 Place is under construction something we wasn’t aware off, shower leaked water all over the floor in the bathroom, the bathroom paint was melting off the walls, the TV remotes wasn’t connected to the TV we couldn’t turn it off or on did asked the front desk for help got told no it was to late, hallway didn’t have no carpet so you was able to hear everyone passing by."

Every hallway was dirty or torn apart, the whole place wreaked of cigarettes, and after five seconds in our room my children and I were completely covered in flea and we had to stand In the parking lot and spray all of our stuff and ourselves before we could even go back into our vehicle. "we stayed over the 4th, our TV remote did not work, and it took until the 5th for it to get fixed. Good breakfast, but there is a charge, and they were really pushy to get me to sign the book, even though I left the breakfast card on the book. No plates, and the staff was upset that we tried to grab clean ones from the stack that was visible behind the counter. Only one elevator working the weekend we were there, and it was busy since it was the 4th weekend"
