"Our bungalow was a suite. It was our first time at this facility. Check in was different, in that there was no "front desk", and instructions for locating and accessing our room were not sent until just before check in time. We were well on the way to the facility (six hour drive) before we even knew which bungalow was ours, or what the access code for the digital lock on the door was. This was somewhat uncomfortable for us. We try to plan in detail and be prepared ahead. However,...

"This is such a perfect place to go to Joshua Tree. It very closed to several restaurants and supermarket. You can get free flow of ice cube during summer and you get an intercontinental bfast (no butter for the bread but it's fine 😁). All in all, we are so pleased with our stay there. "

"Very nice and helpful staff. Room was nice and clean. Location could use more staffing to help keep pool clean but overall everything from parking to amenities was great. There are no phones in room just FYI but everything is in close proximity to stores etc. Great AC as well! We enjoyed our stay."

"I stayed at High Desert Hotel for 3 straight years for work ('21-'24) and it was always great. I stayed again in summer 2026 and the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the property was quiet, the pool was refreshing, and I like the fact that the room has a microwave and a mini fridge so that i can have my breakfast in my room without any fuss.
