"I stayed at High Desert Hotel for 3 straight years for work ('21-'24) and it was always great. I stayed again in summer 2026 and the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the property was quiet, the pool was refreshing, and I like the fact that the room has a microwave and a mini fridge so that i can have my breakfast in my room without any fuss. Thank you!"

"Our bungalow was a suite. It was our first time at this facility. Check in was different, in that there was no "front desk", and instructions for locating and accessing our room were not sent until just before check in time. We were well on the way to the facility (six hour drive) before we even knew which bungalow was ours, or what the access code for the digital lock on the door was. This was somewhat uncomfortable for us. We try to plan in detail and be prepared ahead. However,...

"Free parking and the pools were great! Unfortunately the owner was in the hospital, we didn’t see much of the staff, and there was construction from a pipe burst so the private pool room originally booked was not available. The owner stated they would reach out to have us come back for a comped night when renovations are completed."

"I believe his name was Vinnie or I probably miss heard, sorry about that. He was extremely helpful and polite, I definitely felt welcomed. I was only there for a night, but it was nice, relaxing, and it was fairly quiet. Overall, I will be back for multiple days. I liked how close it was to Joshua tree, and the tub in the room, worked out well! especially after a hike!"

"I loved this place ! It was a pet friendly hotel so my dog was able to enjoy the trip with us!! I wish there was hook behind the bathroom door so you can hook the towel or clothes while you are in shower."

"The pool area needs lots of improvements. For a hotel in a very hot area there is only 1 umbrella and no shade. The patio furniture very worn- probably due to the heat I can’t believe this was A Marriott bonvoy hotel. Not even a make up/ shaving mirror- no tissues or shower cap. The bed was good though."
