"Amazingly close to the beach. The manager, Annette, was lovely and upgraded my room to an upstairs poolside since I was a single woman traveling alone. My room was perfect. They had chairs and towels for the beach. So nice to walk to the beach and pier for food and entertainment. So quiet and relaxing. I will definitely be back!"

"Parent suite 3 is spacious and well maintained. It was plenty of room for a family with two teens. We could’ve brought a third, as there were three twin beds in the children’s room. There were no bugs or lizards in the room. I saw the Orkin guy making his rounds as we were headed out. Just thought I’d let you know if that kind of thing is important to you! (It is to me!) "This was the second time we've stayed at the Surfsider. The first time was five years ago, in May 2021. Miss Sam took good care of us both times. Camilo & Cinnamon were very accommodating, too. Cinnamon even printed out a map to the Cuban restaurant we were trying out for the first time. This place is a hidden gem. My only complaint was the hot water in the second bathroom wasn't working when I showered but my husband was also showering in the master bath so that probably accounts for it. Other...

"I booked this “resort” for the sheer amount of 5 star reviews it had and when I got there, I was severely disappointed by what I saw and received. The reviews mention that the staff is a 5/5 but when I first arrived they had guys standing around laughing and making slick comments about my transaction. "Me and my wife enjoyed our stay so much! We stayed a week and was treated with the best hospitality. If we needed more towels/ etc. we knew it was only a text message away. The room was clean and just a minutes walk from the beach. The host made everything super convenient and easy during check in considering we arrived at midnight. You have to call somebody if you need anything. So then there's a weight your check-in is virtual, and that's just not for me.They don't personalize. Your stay"
