"I have stayed here last year and that room was clean. I stayed this year and stayed in room 301 which wasn’t that clean. The toilet flap was broke and the toilet bowl wasn’t that clean and the shower had black hair in the drain. Has a great balcony view though and The Salty Pickle is the next building over for some great food and a bar. I would stay again even though this trip wasn’t as clean as before. "

"We had a Wednesday through Saturday stay in mid April. The hotel is located at the Surfside Pier as is convenient to several restaurants. We were in a double queen room with a balcony and ocean view. The room was slightly small but was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful if a little scarce. This was our third stay at Surfside and we have never been disappointed."

"Property under construction, our room had some damage in it and we were there for 5/6 nights/days. Kitchenette is a nice touch and the beds are comfortable. Shower was horrible and water pressure not good. No housekeeping for the whole time. No way to call front desk. Wasn’t able to get an automated wake up call and the woman working the night shift fell asleep herself as I woke her up on checking out. "Love that its dog friendly and on the boardwalk. All-around great deal for the location. Pro's: AC unit worked well, great view, great price, great location. Potential improvement options: carpet was really dirty and room smelled strong of smoke (but was listed as non smoking). Ultimately, i am not disappointed and would stay again! "

"Was unable to contact the front desk to advise of late check in - I was given an email address to contact a manager and I never received a response. When we checked in the front desk stated the phones were out because someone tripped over the wires and they ripped out the wall. Tried for 2 days! I was unhappy and disappointed with everyone passing the buck and was not able to help. "

"The room was a lot smaller than expected. The description said it was a double wide bed, but personally seemed like just a double bed. The fridge did not work and kept nothing cold, although it was plugged in. There was no shower curtain so water got everywhere with taking a shower which is crazy as a shower curtain is not expensive. The front desk person was nice but told us there was parking in the front, back, and side. When we went to park in the back, we got yelled at by 2 cleaning ladies...
