"A beautifully restored 175 year-old mansion right in the middle of mansion row. Mime took care of us by recommending dinner options, answering our questions about the mansion/the area/& anything else we wanted. She also fixes a Kings breakfast!"

"Fantastic B and B. Super comfortable, spotlessly clean, great breakfast and the setting is on a farm in the bucolic countryside. Also on the property is a cafe, antique store, and wedding or celebration venue. The owners are incredibly personable, kind, and very knowledgeable about the area. It’s a perfect place for a group, a romantic getaway for 2, a girls weekend, a family reunion… or if you are passing through and need a restful night. We have stayed twice at The Destination and I look...

"Loved everything about our stay. The room was fantastic, clean, roomy. Enjoyed the fireplace in both the bedroom and bathroom. Had a good soak in the whirlpool. Great location near river walkway, restaurants (good brewery). Staff was incredibly nice and friendly, went the extra mile. Loved talking to Lisa every morning. Good cook and was always helpful."

"My stay here was absolutely wonderful! The host was so helpful and attentive to my needs that required a later check-in and an earlier to-go breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable! I was traveling for a work conference, so this was a very cozy, quiet, and relaxing place to stay to recharge after a very long day of traveling, learning, and networking. I would definitely recommend!"

"James took great care of us. The property is an amazing old mansion, beautifully restored and very charming. James made us an amazing breakfast and was able to tell us all about the history of the mansion. I highly recommend staying there, truly a memorable experience."

"Our stay at the Inn at St. James Court was one of the highlights of our trip. Pat is an incredible host who has truly mastered the art of hospitality. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us like old friends and she loves animals as much as us. She made us feel completely at home in her beautiful home. The inn is warm, comfortable, and full of charm, with thoughtful touches that show how much Pat cares about her guests. Every morning started with a delicious breakfast and wonderful...

"The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in...

"The character & history were unbelievable, but the staffing was less than ideal. We didn’t see a single person there. Checkout time was pretty early & if you don’t get to breakfast early, you will miss out. There wasn’t even any coffee left. Glad I got a chance to stay there, but I’m not sure I’d go again…"
