"Small neat room had everything we needed..Nice helpful, friendly staff. Food was beautiful had breakfasts and dinner. I must say that it was the best breakfast menu Ive had. Cosy snug area with fire and lovely bar area. Four of us stayed 2 nights for my friends birthday. Good find, will definitely be back"
"A fantastic stay. The lady who runs Powter Howe could not have been friendlier and was very patient with me on my arrival, including with my sad attempts to get my car into the place!
This is a beautiful, proper country house - very spacious room, lovely breakfast. It is very quiet here. The log fire was amazing and it was great to spend a quiet evening here away from it all!
I would stay again."
"We ADORE Fellpack so very much! It’s a combination of every thing, the whole property is so lovely and well furnished, it is comfy and cosy and is decorated to such a high standard all the way through. This was actually our second stay at fellpack and we will definitely be back again very soon. The thing that makes this place the most special is the staff each and every time. Callum and Ben on the front desk are so accommodating and friendly and will do anything they can to help. We arrived a bit early after a long walk around derwentwater and were soaked through and Ben offered us a cup of tea and biscuits as we dried off. The kindness never goes unnoticed lads! The boot room and the breakfast in the morning are also both pros. The breakfast is genuinely better than a lot of places to eat out and is one of our favourite parts of the stay every time. Thanks guys we will be back again very soon!"
"The room was spotless plenty of tea coffee and milk and always more at reception if needed hotel is well located close to bar's and restaurants good choice for breakfast and staff are really friendly "
