"You pay $350 a night and you expect a resort that is well maintained. Everything from beach chairs to the rooms were in poor condition. If I was paying one third of I paid I wouldn't complain and I usually don't write reviews but in this case I had to do it. Mold in the showers, you name it they have it. Complete top to bottom renovation they need for the price that they are charging."

"almare truly is a beautiful resort. We loved relaxing by the beach, on the balcony of our room, or even next to the pool. The food is very good, though options are limited. The best places were the food truck for lunch and the pool bar restaurant, all so good and best service. Guacamole was so good. Drinks weren't great if you drink the alcohol. Everyone was friendly. Staff always said hello and smiled. The boat ride to Isla mujeres was quick, which was nice. Great to not have to be on the...
