"Amazing staff and absolutely delicious breakfast!! Property was well maintained and welcoming, and the fireplace was lovely in the evening. The rooms are cozy, with spacious modern bathrooms, warm water, and good pressure, which was especially wonderful after a long day of activities. There is limited storage for clothing, just 2 small benches and a few hooks - fine for a solo traveler but could get a bit crowded with 2 people. Special thanks to Jocelyn and Diego for making excellent tour recommendations and coordinating everything, including transportation. They were incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make my stay perfect! Can't wait to return. "

"The room and facilities were clean, my only complaint would be the area itself, out of control of the hotel. There was someone sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the hotel when we arrived and there really isn’t much to offer in the area. We only stopped for the night to catch the ferry the next day and thought that there would be more to see. "

"What a great place to spend five days in Monteverde. The vibe at Cabanas La Pradera was wonderful. As other posters have stated, the family that operate this place are a big reason for this. The property is good for walking and birding, the cabins are comfortable and secluded, the pool area is a good place to hang out, and the coffee is REALLY good at the breakfast room. We recommend Cabanas La Pradera strongly."
