"Staff are overworked. They have to check you in while serving at the bar. We were charged by Expedia and charged a second time when we checked in for the stay. Expedia refused to assist in the resolution, saying we had to work it out with the hotel. "

"We booked 3 nights at the Pegwell and I would say it’s the best hotel in Ramsgate. From getting a nice early check in, to the delicious breakfast every thing was spot on. The walk into Ramsgate is around 40 minutes and is lovely, we found the location perfect, and very quiet. Highly recommend the hotel and Ramsgate for a weekend break."

"Easy to find, clear instructions regarding keys, etc.. Not a huge amount of things nearby, apart from the nice beach. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but in the summer the easier access to the beach must be a plus."

"The rooms are what you would expect although if you have mobility difficulties you may want to request a ground/lower floor as the lift is small and the steps and corridors are also quite small. The hotel itself was nice, a clean seperate bathroom and the view was lovely from our room and we were in a standard and there was a basic AC. In this heat a fridge would be a nice addition so you could put your water in there but there were bottles of water for us on the side. The staff were really...
