"Quaint room and wonderful breakfast..lovely Landlord & Landlady"

"We booked a deluxe en-suite double room with (according to the website) a four-poster bed. This room was no longer available and we were assigned a room which was dark and grubby. "Lovely place, lovely setting. Convenient for a Plymouth but quiet and picturesque, fantastic walks along the Yealm. And a great pub."

"We were welcomed by the staff and shown to our room, which was spacious, clean, warm and quiet. The bed was large and comfortable with good quality pillows. The shower room was large, clean and modern. It was so reasonably priced, we expected a lot less!"

"Lovely little gem with comfortable rooms and a fantastic shower. It was a little bit noisy having the window facing the garden Pub but it closed at a reasonable hour!"

"This was a quick overnight stay on the drive back from Cornwall. The off-street parking and affordability were key in our purchase. Our room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious."
