"Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. Some of the communal areas look a bit tired, but staff welcoming and room was great for my needs (staying overnight in area ready for family get together). Great location for Hythe and walk along seafront short drive away."

"Howfield Manor is a really lovely hotel. Quite a unique venue. The staff were so helpful. This is my second time at the hotel yesterday was for sisters Celebration of Life. We were in the marque which was beautifully laid out, the food was extremely good and the staff were very helpful. We had a lovely room which was very clean and we had a superb view of the gardens. Highly recommended."

"Good parking facilities. Hotel is right in town which is a real bonus. Staff were helpful and friendly. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. We went instead to a very charming cafe just for a change. Unfortunately the down side of the hotel are the rooms. We had a twin room, nice view and large. However the decor was very tired and frankly grubby. The bathroom was ok but if you tried turning round in the bath whilst having a shower you could, and I did, crack your...
