"We flew in to San Jose around 12pm. We headed out of town towards La Fortuna. I thought this would get us out of the city and close to our first day of activities. The area was quiet. The room was very clean. We speak very little Spanish and the staff spoke very little English. However we were able to communicate to get what we needed. The hotel is one block from the Main Street. "A million good things to say about this hotel. Our check-in team was incredibly friendly. When they learned that my mom was sick and had to go to a hospital in San Jose, they processed our refund without any problems. Everywhere we went, the staff exceeded our expectations. The rooftop even provided room service for us, and one staff member went out of their way to bring a special knife to cut open our coconut. This is the kind of place where you can truly relax and trust the people around you...

"We loved it here! Wonderful pool for the kids, tasty breakfast. The grounds are beautiful and loved seeing the volcano in the afternoon once the clouds cleared a bit. The front desk guy even brought me over to see a mama sloth with her baby that was spotted on the grounds. Loved! Would definitely recommend!"
