"The walls are like cardboard and the noise next door was so bad, tried earplugs, tried calling the front desk, put my clothes on at 1 AM to go to the front desk, but nothing was done. It was a nightmare. Finally with banging on the wall and very frustrated the noise finally stopped at 2:45 AM. I wanted to change room and the person on the desk the next afternoon could not mae that happen for I don't know how many reasons. The second night the noise started 12:45 AM until 4 ;15. "Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money...

"Great location for someone wanting to be close to Lake Natoma to paddleboard. It’s about 15-20 mins from the mall and the outdoor shops. It’s across the street from historic downtown Folsom. Shops close early but the restaurants and bars are open late. The hotel is old but it has charm.
